My name is Carmine La Bruna, and I began my career at Motovario in 2001 as a grinding operator. The company believed in me from the outset, offering me significant professional development opportunities that ultimately led to my current role as Shift Supervisor in the grinding department. In this role, I work closely with the Head of Department to set operational priorities, manage staff, ensure operator safety, and oversee training for machine operators.

My commitment to occupational safety has been officially recognised as part of the company’s ‘Safety in the Field’ initiative, thanks to several recommendations focusing on the base of Heinrich’s triangle, with the shared goal of achieving ‘zero injuries’ in the workplace.

I have held the position of President of the Motovario Sports Club for the past eight years, a role which I take on with great enthusiasm. This initiative is designed to strengthen the team by organising activities outside of work. It is about more than just leisure time: it is an opportunity to build genuine relationships with all colleagues – from management to new hires – as well as fostering a sense of belonging and encouraging collaboration that benefits the whole company.
