PDCA at Motovario: a drive for continuous improvement
17 October 2025At Motovario, we don’t just use the PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) method to solve problems, we consider it to be an integral part of our long-standing company philosophy. This approach aligns with the growth mindset adopted within our company, encouraging us to seek continuous improvement at all levels.
By holding short daily meetings in the ‘Gemba’ (i.e. the actual place) with cross-functional teams, we use the PDCA cycle to analyse and streamline processes, thereby ensuring effective output.
To achieve a deeper understanding of areas requiring improvement in our processes, it is essential to conduct operations in the Gemba, or ‘in the field’, so that we can accurately observe and comprehend each stage of the process.
