E510 inverters: the ideal solution for industrial honey extractors

17 February 2021

Honey is extracted thanks to the centrifugal force produced by the rotation of the honey extractor’s drum via a motorised drive.

Motovario has developed the program that controls the E510 Inverter and that does not require a PLC or any other external components to control the machine’s operation. This means saving time and money for the assembly of the PLC, as well as for programming and software debugging.

The industrial honey extractor carries out three steps to remove the honey from the frames:

Step 1: turns left and then right, speed and time can be adjusted via two potentiometers.

Step 2: as above, but from left-right-left.

Step 3: as the previous one, but the first is a low-speed cycle.

The honey undergoes a cold extraction process, i.e. at room temperature, to avoid altering the product’s properties.

The movement exerted on the frames must be checked and corrected to ensure that all the honey in the honeycombs is extracted.
