​The new pellet production plant was recently commissioned with success.

The debarker is powered by 3 Motovario PBZ gear reducers; it removes the bark from tree trunks fed into it with the use of buckets.

The process is activated and carried out by means of 3 PBZ bevel helical gear reducers (model B3Z199); these rotate three different roller-tools that work along the entire length of the trunk.

The removal of the bark allows one to eliminate all the knots and defects in the wood.

At the end of this process, the debarked trunk is subjected to further processing to produce pellets.

The gear reducer was chosen for its excellent ​​reliability compared to other makes: the Motovario PBZ is well able to withstand overloads during the debarking process, without any reduction in performance.​
