TECO: Strategic Achievements in Malaysia’s Hyperscale Data Centres
25 July 2025We are delighted to announce that, following its acquisition of NCL Energy, our parent company, TECO, will be implementing two major hyperscale data centre projects in Malaysia, in Selangor and Johor Bahru.
Valued collectively at over MYR 170 million, with a combined capacity of 178 MW, these projects mark a significant milestone in TECO’s expansion into the thriving Southeast Asian data centre market, demonstrating the company’s expertise in MEP engineering.
TECO is at the forefront of Singapore’s innovation with a trailblazing project that will see the world’s first 13,864-core hyperscale fibre optic cable deployed, establishing new performance benchmarks. With an installed capacity of over 700 MW across Taiwan and Southeast Asia, TECO is undergoing rapid expansion to meet the growing demand for integrated energy and engineering solutions.
