Motovario

In June 1992, the first Earth Summit was held in Rio de Janeiro, where for the first time heads of state gathered to discuss environmental issues.

On that occasion it was decided that World Water Day would be celebrated on 22 March of every year from 1993.

It is now in its 30th year and the way we exploit water is very much a pressing issue.

Each year the UN focuses on a different theme, and this year's theme is "Accelerating Change through Partnerships and Cooperation."

This theme echoes Goal 17 of the UN Agenda 2030, which urges governments, international organisations, private entities and civil societies to work together more closely for more sustainable development.

 

Motovario is proud that some of its products, such as bevel helical gear reducers, are used in the operation of wastewater treatment plants, which require maximum performance at every stage of the process.

In this way, Motovario helps to return cleanest water back to the environment.
