Gabriele Gibellini, who works in Technical Sales Support, completed an ambitious thesis project as part of his Vehicle Engineering degree, which proved to be of great value to the company.

The thesis, entitled ‘Reverse Engineering di riduttori industriali, acquisizione metrologica, modellazione e verifica prestazionale’ (Industrial Gearbox Reverse Engineering, Metrological Acquisition, Modelling and Performance Verification), was written with the support of Francesco Manieri (TSS Manager).

For the project, Gabriele used reverse engineering on shaft-mounted gear reducers, as well as company tools such as the metrology room and calculation software, to record information that would facilitate the optimisation of the product and its strategic positioning in the market.
