Simone Conti is #TalentsInAction!
11 February 2026Simone Conti, who is now employed as a Process Quality Engineer, wrote a thesis that was both ambitious in scope and of significant value to the company as part of his Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
He completed the thesis, entitled ‘Ripristino e riqualificazione di un Magazzino ricambi per reparto Manutenzione’ (Renovation and Redevelopment of a Spare Parts Warehouse for the Maintenance Department), during his first experience in the maintenance department, with the support of Luca Lo Sinno (Production Manager) and Nicola Colarusso (Quality Manager).
The project adhered to the seven-step Lean approach, which was aligned with the World Class Manufacturing (WCM) implementation process as part of the ‘Professional Maintenance’ pillar. Thanks to their efforts, the company has significantly reduced lead times for critical spare parts, while also streamlining inventory valuation, thereby improving MTTR (Mean Time To Repair).
‘I would particularly like to thank Luca Lo Sinno and Nicola Colarusso for their immense support in developing this project and for helping me grow as an individual within the company,’ says Simone Conti.
Well done, Simone!
